Many people choose to do work experience because of the way they develop professionally, but there are also a variety of ways that you can develop personally by doing work experience. Even if your older or younger, you are always developing yourself personally and this is done a lot in the workplace. This is because you are learning how you respond and act with different scenarios. In a lot of competitive industries, going abroad to work may be the only option if you are wanting to gain work experience. For example, in the medical industry, going abroad to gain medical work experience i required because you gain a number of extra skills by working in another country, which leave you in a better standing when it comes to working back in the UK.
